Pre Civil War Construction

 over a century of family lineage to Horace Greeley, politician, editor and publisher of the New York Tribune, early feminist, vegetarian who popularized the slogan 
"Go West, young man, and grow up with the country."

Built in 1854, only two of the original five Row Houses remain and

are one of the most photographed houses in Brooklyn.

Imparting time honored skills & fine workmanship, we restored and preserved

the historic architectural detail for years to come.

This incredible doorway is Italianate in style, with a cast iron cornice, lintel, corbels and beautiful scroll work. The doors are made of Tiger Oak.
